This Friday, October 10th at Shank Hall, Hounds Tooth will be playing a benefit for 11 year old Michael Chavez. Michael has been affected with severe autism, which impacts his health, ability to communicate and safety. Since most insurances don't cover autism therapies we are raising funds to help the family with his continued care. Perhaps your life has been touched in some way by a devastating disease, or you admire a little boy's enduring spirit to be like everyone else. What a perfect opportunity to support the journey, to find a safe and healthier future.
There will be a raffle drawings for a set of 4 Green Bay Packers tickets, 42" Flat Screen TV, American Club Getaway, Set of 4 Bucks Tickets, Skydive Package for 2, IPhone, Portable DVD Player, and IPod. Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 8 pm. Tickets are $10 and this is a smoke-free event. A Portion of the proceeds will be dontated to Angel, Inc. of SE Wisconsin. For tickets or to make a donation contact: Melissa Hughes (414) 964-7643 or Theresa Stolfi (262) 633-4194.
This week on October 9th, JD and I will be hosting the open blues jam at Lil Downtown Lounge at 8:30 pm!
Then on Saturday at 1:15 pm I will be performing an acoustic country set with lead guitarist from the Bystanders, Joe Gorman, for the Empty Bowls benefit. This awesome benefit will run from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm at the MATC South Campus. I hope to see ya'll there, this is going to be a wonderful benefit that works to support food banks, soup kitchens, and other organizations that fight hunger. I ask that you all show your support and join Joe and I on Saturday afternoon to help in this wonderful cause.
Peace and Love,
