This is me and Joe Gorman on guitar performing our accoustic act for Women in Music 11 at Conway's Smokin' Bar & Grill in Milwaukee on November 20th, 2009.
In this video, we are performing a cover of Sugarland's "All I Wanna Do."
I wrote 'Man on the Edge' early in 2009. It was inspired by a homeless man I met some years ago. I came across him as I was driving to work one day. He was standing on the middle island of the street holding a sign that read "will work for food". I had crossed this street many times and have come across many homeless people in my lifetime but on this particular day I stopped and gave him some of my money. As I passed along the money to him our hands met and the feeling I had from that simple touch was amazing and life changing. From that experience came "Man on the Edge".
Jared James Nichols added his magic and brought my lyrics and message to music.
This version of "Man on the Edge" was performed at Indian Summer Festival on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 on the Miller Lite Stage at Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Hounds Tooth Summer 2009 Line-up:
Jamie Brace - vocals
Jared James Nichols - lead guitar
